Robins Electronics whom sponsored the original Assault on Mt. Mitchell Web Page for the first 2 1/2  years prior to transferring the site to the Freewheelers of Spartanburg - has placed this additional Rider Requested information back on the web for those who have ridden the Assaults in the past. 

Over the years I have tried to RECONSTRUCT  the results for each year from 1985 forward from documentation that was provided to me by a number of different sources whom kept the results for the various specific years.  Several years I kept the results myself so those years were already done.  Scott Hoffmann of the Bicycle Gallery of Spartanburg SC, whom was very active in running this event between 85 and 92 also had provide additional results information that was included in the original page.  I also had the original Mary Black Hospital database as well.

 The tabulation and entry of rider information and results was very time consuming. For over 3 years of hard work, this is the results for the Assault on Mt. Mitchell.  As a result this - may not be the most accurate - it is the best that we can do with what we had to go on. This reconstruction of the Assaults for the year 1993 may have a few omissions as this was the hardest year to reconstruct.  If you are missing I am sorry.  

As such there will be NO CHANGES  made to the results as they are posted.
